By Air
More than 50 airlines fly to Birminghan from over 100 destinations. Birmingham International Airport, the major airport in Birminghan, just 8 miles towards southeast of the city centre is a convenient entry point to the city and region. The airport offers a host of hotel, parking and car hire facilities and is The National Exhibition Centre.

Getting to the centre city from the airport takes around 10-20 munites by trains depending on what service are you going, express or local service. The train service is available every 5-15 minutes from around 6:15AM (Su 8:45AM) to 11:15PM. and costs around Ł2 one way.

Bus service is available every 20-30 minutes between Birmingham and Coventry from around 6:10AM (Sa 6:30AM, Su 7:00AM) to midnight and takes around 25 minutes.

Taxis are available all time to central Birmingham and the journey takes around 20 minutes.

By train
Birmingham is a major hub of Britain's rail network. The main station is New Street located in the city centre easily reached throught The Mall Pallasades. Snow Hill and Moor Street Stations serve routes from London to Marylebone and areas in the West Midlands. All three stations are in the city centre and within walking distance of each other and are linked by a free bus service.

By bus
Birminghan is well served by coaches provide by National Express that offers journeys to Birmingham from 500 locations in Europe and provides access to 1,200 destinations in England, Scotland and Wales via Birmingham. There are half-hourly services from London Victoria and services from most major cities every two hours.

Reach the coach station in very easy and takes just 10 minutes' walk from the city centre, Digbeth. The current station Digbeth will be replaced by a new coach station for Birmingham, which will offer improved facilities and convenient links to Snow Hill Railway Station.

By car
Birmingham has the major motorway network in England, linking the M1, M5, M6, M40 and M42. The city provides easily identifiable routes to towns and other cities throughout the UK, as well as quick access to Birmingham’s major attractions and venues.

From the north, Birmingham is served by A-roads.
From the north-east, use the M1, M42 and M6.
From the east, use the M6.
From the south-east, use the M40 and M42.
From the south, Birmingham is served by A-roads.
From the south-west, use the M5 and M42.
From the west, Birmingham is served by A-roads.
From the north-west, use the M6.

And with more than 25,000 city centre car parking spaces, drivers can be reassured of great parking provision.

By boat
Birminghan can be reach by boat, due to its industrial heritage Birmingham has an extensive canal network. Visitors travelling by narrowboat can choose from several tourist moorings, managed privately or by British Waterways. These are very busy in spring and summer.
