Arrival to Brighton

By train
Perhaps the most convenient way to get to Brighton is by train around 50 min. from London. Trains to Brighton run from Victoria and London Bridge stations in London, with over 30 direct services a day to Victoria and 50 direct daily services to the City at London Bridge station. Trains also run along the coast from Hastings and Lewes in the east, and Portsmouth and Chichester in the west.

By car
The principal route to Broghton from London and Gatwick Airport is the M23/A23 and takes around 30 minutes and links to the M25 London Orbital motorway. The A27 runs along the south coast of the UK, and is dual carriageway from the M27 at Portsmouth in the west to Lewes in the east. The traffic into the city is terrible and is almost impossible to park, because parking places usually are full, and especially on weekends.

By bus
National Express provides coach services from London usually tend to be slow and takes around 2 hours. Megabus also runs a budget coach service with similar time. Stagecoach bus services run to brighton from Portsmouth, via Worthing, on service 700.

By Air: The city's proximity to London means Brighton is well served by airports. Brighton can be reached from Gatwick airport. There are about 30 miles (40km) from Gatwick to Brighton, to get the city from the airport there are many options.

Train: is the best and takes around 25 minutes with at least four trains per hour.
Bus/coach: National Express has direct service to Brighton with frequent departures.
Taxi: Airport taxis are quite expensive
